About Me

Dora has been working for over 14 years in the field of health care and health
education.

After her B.Sc. in Nursing from Curry College / Boston USA, Dora worked as a
registered nurse in a Harvard University teaching hospital in Boston (USA).

She gained experience working in intensive care as well as inpatient and
outpatient oncology. A large part of her work included teaching patients and
their families how to manage chronic diseases after their return home from the
hospital in terms of nutrition, fatigue, and stress.

Before starting work as a private health educator Dora completed a M.Sc. in
Public Health from Maastricht University (The Netherlands) specializing in
health education and health promotion.

After completing her studies, Dora worked with high risk families with young children, helping to coordinate services to
promote mental and physical well being.

Dora's passion for healthy cooking developed after living 4 years in Paris and exploring the open marketplaces full of colorful
and fresh produce. Through her cooking classes, she hopes to relay that healthy food can be delicious as well as nutritious.

Since moving to Munich in 2008, Dora has offered courses in health, nutrition and disease management for adults and
children.

Dora has worked in the US, France and Germany, is married to a German and has a daughter, Lilian, and a son, Alec who
were born in Munich.

In addition to her native tongue English, Dora speaks French and German.
